HISTORY IN THE MAKING

1984
Humble Beginning

Konsortium Perkapalan Berhad (KPB), was incorporated in 1984 as a container haulage company based in Penang and served its services in the Northern Region. Recognising the growing demands for logistics services in the region, in 1989 KPB then expanded its operations to serve the Port Klang and Pasir Gudang hinterlands.

1996
Listed Main Board

In December 1995, Konsortium Perkapalan Berhad (KPB) acquired PNSL Berhad (formerly known as Perbadanan Nasional Shipping Line Berhad) and Malaysian Shipping Agencies Sdn Bhd (MSA) from PNB. KPB was listed in Bursa Malaysia on 19 Jan 1996 and rebranding from KPB to Konsortium Logistik Berhad (KLB).

 
2010
Ekuinas Acquired 56.5% Stake in KLB

In October 2017, Ekuiti Nasional Berhad (Ekuinas), the government-linked private equity fund management company, has entered into a Share Sale agreement to acquire a 56.5 % controlling stake in Konsortium Logistik Berhad (KLB), for a total consideration of RM206.6 million.

2013
Klas Take Over of KLB

DRB-HICOM Berhad' via its subsidiary KL Airport Services Sdn Bhd (KLAS) acquired a 61.61% stake of Konsortium Logistik Berhad (KLB) for RM240.97mil cash or RM1.55 per share from Ekuiti Nasional Bhd in December 2013. KLB delisted from Main Board in Feb 2014 with 100% acquisition completed by KLAS.

2016
Acquisition of Pos Logistics into Pos Malaysia Group

Pos Logistics Berhad (formerly known as Konsortium Logistik Berhad) is part of the Pos Aviation Group (formerly known as KLAS Group of Companies). On 15 September 2016, the KLAS Group of Companies was acquired by Pos Malaysia Berhad. Following the acquisition, Konsortium Logistik Berhad was rebranded to Pos Logistics Berhad. The rebranding exercise incorporate the full spectrum of rebranding including the corporate image.
